This is probably one of the best and yet most bittersweet Januarys I have had in some time. First, I’m spending it in Southern California, which may in fact be the last time. The weather is great here in Orange County, and I know I’m unlikely to experience this kind of winter again. Until I retire, at least. The negative here, of course, is that I’ve been beset with computer and hard drive problems for a quite a number of weeks. Just when I think I’m starting to get ahead, I find out I have to do a search for data recovery Santa Ana in order to find a hard drive recovery company that can help me. Well, I guess I don’t have to do that search that often since I found Hard Drive Recovery Group. These guys really understand data recovery, which is fantastic. Also, they’re just down the 5 in Irvine, which is awesome. Plus free damaged hard drive pickup, which is amazing as well.
One of the craziest times I’ve had on a train was when I was going between Los Angeles and San Diego on a Monday. I had a couple of projects due back in San Diego, so I thought that I would start working on the stuff while I was riding. I ran into a guy on the train that I knew, and he said he’d just been in Irvine doing sales, and dropped his laptop. He needed to recover data from hard drive units that were not functioning, and I was curious as to what he could do. He told me he just finished dropping the drive off at an Irvine Data recovery shop, which was interesting because he is from San Diego. He said the company would srecover data from hard drive failure and then provide free shipping for those that dropped off their drives. So he did that. It was a great story, and from that point on, we had a few beers and laughed.
